Sustainable development

We are committed to promoting sustainability in three key areas.

We care for the environment by:

  • manufacturing cosmetics and packaging in one place and under the same roof, reducing our transport footprint, re-using collective packaging and, as a result, minimizing emissions of air pollutants;
  • upgrading our machine park to save energy;
  • reducing plastic waste through the use of closed-loop automation and multi-layered technology for the production of packaging;
  • making our packaging lighter (if possible) and, as a result, reducing the amount of plastic waste that ends up in the market;
  • making use of our own effluent pretreatment plant instead of burdening the public sewage system with substances that are hard to dissolve in water;
  • implementing RSPO standards for sustainable palm production;
  • using renewable resources as alternatives to fossil fuels
  • reducing paper consumption in the office and promoting e-documentation instead.

We care for the well-being of our employees by:

  • creating opportunities for their personal growth;
  • encouraging them to engage in volunteer work;
  • providing first-aid training;
  • updating our knowledge of occupational health and safety;
  • promoting a healthy work-and-life balance.

We care for our community by:

  • appointing an ethics officer;
  • creating a supplier code of conduct;
  • offering student apprenticeship programmes and training programmes for future specialists;
  • running our own art gallery;
  • supporting local and national charity organizations;
  • building an apiary to save the bees.
